About the Journal

How Kenya Security Journal works.

A publication for careful security decisions in Kenya, with enough context to make a useful next step visible.

Purpose

Kenya Security Journal explains the questions behind security purchases and operating promises. The articles are written for people comparing a quote, checking a provider or responding to an incident, and they keep the practical limits of public evidence in view.

Method

Articles use official Kenyan legislation, regulator guidance, operator material, technical references and institutional procurement documents where those sources clarify the decision. A procurement requirement is described as an example of what one buyer requested; it is not silently turned into a universal legal duty. Update notes name the review date and tell readers which time-sensitive details to recheck.
